Achievements
After much help and encouragement from Marlene and Sue, we started our showing career at the 2004 Bath Championship Show where Georgie won a ‘Very Highly Commended’ (VHC) in Puppy Bitch class at 6 months old. This was followed by numerous firsts and placings in both Open and Championship shows. She gained a first place at the Welsh Kennel Club Show under Mr. D. Coxall - her first qualifier for Crufts. Georgie gained a VHC at Crufts, this being our first time at the great event - we were very excited.
As Georgie went into Junior and Post Graduate Bitch classes (PGB), we attended more Championships. Our grooming and handling improved and we were rewarded by more frequent and higher placings.
A first place at the City of Birmingham Championship Show in PGB, under Mr Terry Thorne, qualified Georgie for Crufts again this year (2006).
Unfortunately Georgie was prescribed anti-inflammatory medication due to a pulled muscle two days before Crufts. She was not placed, but handled well and looked absolutely beautiful.
Georgie won a first place at Windsor and at Blackpool, qualifying her for Crufts 2007. She also won Best in Show at South Western Poodle Club and Best of Breed at Kingston Open Show (July 2006).
Georgie has also had numerous placings in starter Obedience classes and had a clear round in starter jumping at Lansdown Agility Championship show in June 2006.
We have also had a lot of fun doing Cani Cross.
My clever girl has also achieved her bronze, silver and gold Kennel Club Good Citizen’s Awards.
